Patricia de Souza

I am a Brazilian-American woman who possesses a natural and genuine love for teaching.  My passion for world languages and cultures has afforded me various experiences all over the world.  I have chosen the field of higher education as my platform to serve and lead, specificially in international education and the globalization of higher education.  The keys to innovation and economic growth will be in the mobility of people and ideas, on campus and beyond.  As an educator, I am in the position to be a change agent to engage and connect with people, embracing people from all kinds of background through the opportunities in education.
